After a seven-year absence, the East Los Angeles Christmas Parade returns Nov. 27.
The parade starts at noon at the corner of Eastern Avenue and Whittier Boulevard and proceeds east on Whittier to Goodrich Avenue.
A street festival will be held on Goodrich Avenue, where the parade ends from 2 to 5 p.m., featuring live music and food and vendor booths.
The parade was first held in 1975 and was discontinued in 2009. It is being revived with the assistance of county Supervisor Hilda Solis and the presenting sponsor Coca-Cola.
